About
An open notebook, kept by Made by Many, on how we build alongside the machines.
Made by Many is a product design studio. This site is not the studio's marketing site, which is at madebymany.com. It is the working record of how we build now: the method we work by, the skill suite that runs it, and the positions we draw on when we write, pitch or argue. It is published rather than kept internal because the argument is easier to have in the open, and because our own people and our own agents both need one address to cite instead of a paraphrase from memory.
Every page carries a status, an owner and a last-reviewed date, and they are rendered as text rather than tucked into metadata. Published means we do this and can show it. Draft means it is what we currently think and is still moving. Gap means we have not worked it out yet, and a gap is never a position. The gaps stay visible on purpose: a notebook that records only finished thinking is a brochure. If you quote a page from here, carry its status and its date with the quote.
Two sections, the experiments and the knowledge base, sit behind the studio's sign-in because they name client work. Everything that matters to how we are understood publicly stays outside it.
The site is built by the suite it documents, and the suite is open at github.com/madebymany/madebyagents. Start at the front page, or go straight to the positions.
