The public pages count visits without cookies. Vercel Web Analytics tells us which pages are read, where readers arrived from and what kind of device and browser they used. Vercel Speed Insights tells us how quickly pages loaded for real visitors. Neither sets a cookie or identifies you: a visit is counted by a hash of the request, which Vercel discards after 24 hours (Vercel's own account of it). Vercel also keeps ordinary server logs for the requests it serves, as any web host does.
Google Analytics runs only if you accept it. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether we can use Google Analytics cookies. Until you press Accept, nothing from Google loads on the page and nothing is sent to Google. If you accept, Google Analytics records the pages you read and how you got here, so we can see how people find the site and move between it and madebymany.com, which reports into the same account. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off, so the data is not used to show you ads. Google's account of what it collects is in its own privacy policy.
Some pages require signing in. The knowledge base names client work, and the learning courses are not ready to be read yet, so they sit behind the studio's Google sign-in and are restricted to Made by Many email addresses. Signing in reads your email address and your name from Google, to check the address against the permitted domain and to show you who you are signed in as. There is no database and no user table on this site, and nothing about what you read while signed in is recorded or associated with you.
The content is meant to be copied. The public pages are published to be quoted by people and retrieved by AI assistants, which is the point of the site. Nothing you do here is part of that: the pages are the same for every reader, and no one is profiled.

The Google Analytics cookies are set on madebymany.com rather than on this site's own address, so they are shared with the studio's main site. The sign-in cookies are strictly necessary for the pages behind sign-in and are not used for anything else.
You can change your mind at any time. The button below reopens the banner. Rejecting after accepting deletes the Google Analytics cookies and stops Google Analytics loading.
